SN74LVC2G07: theta jc or theta jb and max op junction temperature needed

Part Number: SN74LVC2G07

looking for theta jc or theta jb and maximum recommended operating junction temperature for the following part; SN74LVC2G07DCKT

Thanks,

Keith

  • Hi Keith, and welcome to the forums!

I can get the thermal values for you - it takes about 2 weeks for me to get the thermal models back after my request (which would be on Monday morning, when I return to work).

The maximum junction temperature is 150C. There's an FAQ on this topic here: https://e2e.ti.com/support/logic/f/151/t/716186

Can I ask what you're doing with this device that requires thermal models? This device isn't really designed for power delivery or high speed operation, so it seems odd that you'd require these specs.

  • Hey Keith,

You're in luck - when I searched our database this morning, I found that these numbers were already generated:

Result- Theta JA-High K (standard datasheet value)

    250.2

Result-Theta JC, top (standard datasheet value)

    86.8

    Result-Theta JB (standard datasheet value)

    53.6

Result- Psi JT (standard datasheet value)

    1.5

Result- Psi JB (standard datasheet value)

    53.0
