Hi Sir,

As the title, our customer is seeking for the redriver or buffer solution which can increase the driving capability for the long trace around 10000 mils.

Please help to recommend it, and let me know if we got the confidence to support the long trace length.

The BCLK will around 2MHz ~ 4MHz.

BTW, is the SN74LVC1G34 (1 port) or SN74LVC125A (4 port) be a good candidate?

LVC is the logic family with the strongest output drivers (at 3.3 V). Use any buffer with the required number of channels.

Hi George,

At 10,000 mils (aka 10 inches) of trace length, you're going to see significant transmission line effects. What's the impedance of the trace? Are there any significant stubs (> 6")? Does the trace use good routing practices (rounded corners, no 90 degree sharp turns)?

I agree with Clemens that any buffer will work, but I'd recommend to add a series output resistor (33 ohm is the most common value). There's a lot of details on this provided here: [FAQ] What happens when I connect a logic device's output to a 50 ohm transmission line?
