CD74HC75: Transparent latch is right choice for buffer/ inverter?

Part Number: CD74HC75
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN74LVC1G17, SN74LVC1G14

Hello team,

I'm looking for logic IC which outputs 3.3V inverted and non-inverted signal simultaneously from single input.

I think transparent latch like CD74HC75 can work in my use case by using this under transparent mode.

But I'm not convinced that this is the right choice.

Does TI have better logic IC for my use case?

Regards,

Itoh

  • Hello Itoh-san,

There is not a single chip solution available that has 2 separate outputs that simultaneously output a inverted and non inverted version of the same signal.

The best option would be to use an SN74LVC1G14 and SN74LVC1G17 and tie both of the inputs to the two devices together.

    Best,

    Michael
