TXS0104E: IBIS model of the MPN: TXS0104ERGYR

Part Number: TXS0104E
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TXS0101

I would like to have IBIS model of the MPN: TXS0104ERGYR.

I did try to use the TXS0101 IBIS, but there is just only input pin available, no output pin for simulation.

Kindly feedback on the above situation.

  • The TXS is a passive switch, and the edge accelerators are active only for a short time. This cannot be fully modelled with IBIS.

What is the problem you're trying to solve with the simulation?

  • As I am using TXS level shifter to convert the I2C and UART signal IO voltage level of 1.8V and 3.3V, so would like to simulate the TX and RX for both direction. But there is just only input pin available so I just only can simulate one way direction which is RX at TXS switch, but unable to do TX at TXS switch.

Do you have any idea on that?

  • The input pin in the IBIS model applies only to the OE control input; the data I/Os are not modelled (IBIS does not support the TXS architecture).

You'd have to use the Spice model.
