SN74AUP2G34: 4 or 8 or 16 channel solution

Part Number: SN74AUP2G34
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN74AUP3G34, , SN74AUC16245

Hi Sir

Reference design use 74AUP2G34 to do 14bit parallel digital video buffer

We will like to check 4bit or 8bit solution ,if have 16bit solution it will be better

The key spec is input cap need to under 2pF(74AUP2G34 is 0.8pF)

Do you have idea for 4bit or 8bit solution ?

Thanks

  • Other logic families have higher input capacitances.

The largest AUP buffer is the SN74AUP3G34.

Where does that capacitance requirement come from? A 2 pF limit is very unusual.

  • Hello,

The input capacitance of SN74AUP2G34 is 1.5pF typical -- we make no guarantee that it will be below 2 pF.

I don't have any devices with a guaranteed input capacitance below 2pF.

I would recommend the SN74AUC16245 as a 16-bit high-speed buffer. Input capacitance is 3pF typical for that device:
