How to change to 200kbps BW configuration of CC1120 from your sample settings?

I would like to know how to fix the register settings with using SmartRF studio.
In my customer's system, they would like to configure 200kbps BW. However, if only the BW is changed, RSSI becomes worse.

I selected the sample of '868MHz, 1.2kbps, 2FSK, BW=25kHz' in the menu and change the frequency is 915MHz. In this case, there is no issue on RSSI measurement.
However, if the BW is changed to 200kHz, RSSI becomes worse suddenly. There is no Tx board in the test room. The result is attached below.
Is there any configuration needed to change BW?

  • Sorry, there are some typo in my original question and subject. "200kbps BW" was wrong. The correct words are "200kHz BW".

    Our customer would like to know how to determine the configuration for 200kHz BW.

  • Wider filter bandwidth (25kHz to 200kHz) will raise the noise floor (just based on thermal noise) about 10 dB, so the RSSI will read ~10 dB higher with no signal in. 

  • The noise floor becomes higher about 50dB not just 10dB. The reproduction ratio with CC1120EM is not so high. However, it's easy to reproduce the problem with CC1120+CC1190EM.
    Could you please try the following procedure to reproduce with using CC1120+CC1190EM?
    1. Select Range Expander to 1190 with HGM
    2. Select 869MHz, 1.2kbps, 2-FSK, 25kHz in continuous RX tab
    3. Change carrier frequency 915MHz and BW is 200kHz

    I think that you can see the error like the attached image below.

    I would like to know the route cause of this problem.

  • I need your advice about unexpected RSSI behavior. As I checked the register value, maybe I found the route cause. This was caused by the setting of 'AGC_REF'. Even though the BW is changed, 'AGC_REF' is not adjusted. If 'AGC_REF is adjusted manually to the value in user's manual, this unexpected RSSI behavior was fixed.

    I would like to know how I should explain that customer modifies the configuration settings to what they would like to achieve. Customer would like to achieve the following configurations.
    ===
    *Carrier Frequency = 915MHz
    *Symbol rate = 100kbps
    *Modulation format = 2-FSK
    *Deviation = ±25kHz
    *RX_filter_BW = 200kHz
    ===
    I suggested that they should select  "868MHz, 200kbps, 4GSK" first, then change the RF parameter in Window as they would like to configure like the attached picture.
    If there are any other registers which we should change, please advise.
