The ZStack Home is based on Z-Stack™, ZigBee PRO 2012 protocol stack with ZCP (ZigBee Compliant Platform) certification for CC2530 & CC2538. Does It support ZigBee Green Power features for CC2530?

Hi,
i suggest you get in contact with a local TI contact to get more information about roadmap of new feature in TI stack.
We can't disclose roadmap information in public forums.
Thanks,
TheDarkSide
TheDarkSide, see the last message in this thread: RE: Serious Bug with routing in cc2530 routers - Serious worries of other customers having similar problems/questions and not getting help
In order to get the project to compile correctly under Z-Stack 2.6.0 the you need to
#define FEATURE_GREEN_POWER
I'm worried about any potential side-effects this could have on our application. Can you elaborate on this define or should I contact my regional sales rep?
For Zigbee green power, you can refer to http://www.zigbee.org/Specifications/ZigBee/GreenPower.aspx
YiKai, thank you for the Zigbee Alliance Specification for the Green Power feature, but that's not what I am asking about. What I am asking about is: what are all the side effects of the define FEATURE_GREEN_POWER in Z-Stack 2.6.0 that ships with Z-Stack Lighting 1.0.2 not what the define FEATURE_GREEN_POWER intended to accomplish in relation to the parent spec.
Furthermore, TheDarkSide stated above that the Green Power feature of Zigbee was not available in Z-Stack as of Oct-2013. Z-Stack Lighting is dated at December 2013. So I'm also asking if the status of that has changed because it is in the code, if its not yet supported I would appreciate more information as to why it is in the code base, is necessary for correct compilation but is not yet usable as a feature.
Hello Jeff and happy new year,
It's been a while since we were discussing about the FEATURE_GREEN_POWER definition. Have you seen anything in the new Stack versions when using it or when not using it? Does defining or not defining it respectively creates any issues on your zigbee networks?
Best Regards,
Nikos
