SYSCONFIG: Unable to load my .syscfg file after updating Sysconfig

Part Number: SYSCONFIG
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AM6412

Hi,

I'm currently configuring the AM6412 using Sysconfig. Now, after updating Sysconfig from v1.7.0 to v1.8.1, I'm unable to load my old .syscfg file (see error in screenshot below). It seems like some properties have been moved or renamed in the new version. But the tool doesn't give me the chance to convert the file, I'm just not able to open it. Since I don't want to redo all the work I wanted to ask what could I do to load my .sysconfig file in newer versions of Sysconfig?

Thanks,

Claudio

  • Hello Claudio,

You will not need to regenerate the file from scratch. The .syscfg file can be edited as a raw text file. Open file in text editor and remove any line entries that include references to USB0 (or any failing peripheral options). If the error persists after suggested updates, please share the .syscfg file for further debug.

    Thanks,

    Zackary Fleenor

  • Thank you! After removing all erroneous occurrences I was able to load the file again. I will add the removed entries with the latest Sysconfig.
