MSP432E401Y: POE circuitry

Part Number: MSP432E401Y

Hi,

I am currently using the MSP432E401Y as part of my PoE circuit card. I using the same circuitry design as in the SimpleLink Dev Board (Image below) for my ethernet communication with 49.9-ohm pull-up resistors on pin 53,54,56,57. The circuit works for a while however, when I am connected to a Cisco switch (C9200L-24P-4G) I am experiencing multiple problems that could be related to each other. My first problem is that I fail to get a good ethernet link when I first connect to the switch and it takes me a few reconnects to get a proper link. Second, when I connect a second device to the switch the device already connected its connectivity drop and returns simultaneously as the second device. Finally, I am seeing a short to ground after multiple reconnects but the IC still functions for a limited time.

I am missing any additional circuitry that SimpleLink doesn't mention when it comes to getting power and RJ45 communication on the same Magjack port?
