I'm wondering if there is ready API in TIRTOS that can return the number of context switching per second and if not, what will be the best way to do it?

Hi,

No, I don't think there is such API. You can use UIA to do various types of system analysis. In CCS, go to Tools -> System Analyzer and select the analysis you want. Here is the link the UIA user's guide for more details. For example, you can go to section 4.15 for Context Aware Profiler.
