SW-EK-TM4C1294XL: Source files for Connected_LaunchPad_Workshop

Hello Adam,

That workshop is very old and we don't have the source code files on TI.com anymore. I am not really sure where they would be myself.

We have a lot more newer collateral and examples with TivaWare 2.2.0.295 and our application notes. Perhaps I can guide you to some better starting points with your LaunchPad? What features are you looking to leverage?

I understand that this (EK-TM4C1294XL) module is old. But it is still available for sale.It has not been modified in any way since 2014.

The document I am using for EK-TM4C1294XL is "Creating IoT Solutions with the Tiva® C Series Connected LaunchPad Workshop".It is now available on the Ti domain: http://software-dl.ti.com/trainingTTO/trainingTTO_public_sw/Tiva_CLP/CLP_Workbook.pdf

Sorry that you were unclear about my messaging here. I am not saying the LaunchPad itself is old by any means. We definitely want all new TM4C users to use the EK-TM4C1294XL or EK-TM4C123GXL.

What I am saying is the training document from 2013 is outdated by 8 years and used a very old version of TivaWare which has been updated a number of times including resolving many bugs including key bugs that impact TM4C129x devices.

Therefore we are not offering this outdated training which revolves around an old SDK.

The TM4C129x and TM4C123x training collateral we have are:

Regarding the Connected_LaunchPad_Workshop, as mentioned I don't believe this is the right starting point for you to use for TM4C evaluation. Customers in 2021 are using TivaWare and our app notes to start with. We have dozens example projects in TivaWare to help get you started which you can find at C:\ti\TivaWare_C_Series-2.2.0.295\examples\boards\ek-tm4c1294xl

I know about updated versions of libraries.
