Hi experts,

My customer is having the exact same problem as before with the MSP-EXP432E401Y that they are using.

Could you please let me know if there is a solution to this problem?

The problem is summarized in the original thread, but I get "Error -615" and cannot access the MSP432E401Y on the evaluation board. We've done the same checks that I did in the original thread, and the symptoms are exactly the same. Also, as per MEM#16 of the errata, I ran the unlock sequence twice, but could not recover.

I was able to check the most recent thread about a similar phenomenon, but it did not contain any solution.

The customer is still in the evaluation phase, but if you have any information on this issue, it would be appreciated if you could share it. There is no problem using private chat, etc.

    I checked the previous Thread discussion with James as following

    O.H: We checked using the customer's LaunchPad(hereafter referred to as "A") and our own LaunchPad(hereafter referred to as "B"). The result is that the problem seems to be on the MSP432E401Y side of the customer's LaunchPad(A).

    James: Nice work. I appreciate the thorough testing! I think your results clearly demonstrate there is an issue with A's MSP432E4.

    I think the conclusion points to there is some issue on customer launchpad (A).

    May I know if the same issue is happened on the new launchpad (B)?

    Sorry. My explanation was inadequate.

    The customer purchased 3 units of MSP-EXP432E401Y when he purchased the previous problematic Launchpad (A). (For example, A-1, A-2, and A-3).

    The Launchpad (A-1) that had the previous problem was replaced with a new one.(Thank you for the support!)

    This time, the problem is with Launchpad (A-2), which has been working fine until now.

    The Launchpad (B) that we own does not contain any programs used by the customer and is not causing any problems.

    So far, Both Launchpad (A-1) new one and Launchpad (B) are OK.

    I am not sure if there is issue on Launchpad (A-2) and I am not sure the status of Launchpad (A-3).

    Could you please comment the status of A-2 and A-3?

    Sorry, but we do not know the status of the Launchpad (A-3) and need to check with the customer.

    Since there is no specific report from the customer until now, it is possible that it is working fine or is not being used as a spare.

    We have confirmed with the customer that the Launchpad (A-3) is working fine. They have a situation where 2 out of 8 units purchased in 2021 are experiencing the same problem.

    Thanks for your update on the situation. So far, I can't found more solution on technical. I comment is replacing the new launchpad with the 2 launchpad with "Error -615" issue. Please kindly contact our sales office on this support. Thanks!
