MSP432E401Y: Using External Peripheral Interface with external memory

Hey TI community, I was wondering if anyone had any experience using the External Peripheral Interface of the MSP432 with an external memory device? The project I'm working on is requiring an external memory device as the internal memory will most likely be taken up. I was leaning more towards an external Flash memory device that would be compatible with the MSP432. From my searching online, I wasn't able to find a direct answer for a compatible device for my specifications. Any insight or recommendations would be super appreciated! Thanks

I'll ask around within our applications team to see what collective knowledge there is on this use case. Perhaps someone in the community has gone down this path and can provide some insight as well.

Hi Tyler,

I was pointed to an EPI (SRAM) example project found in the TI Resource Explorer.

Once you navigate to theexamples link, look in the MSP432E401Y Launchpad\driverlib folder for 'epi_sdram_basic' and 'epi_sdram_dmareq'
