Hi,

Good Day. I have a customer who is working with TMS570LS31 HDK and he needs help about it. Please see below his query for your reference. Thank you very much

I am measuring room temperature using ADC. ADC gives result around 1400-1500 (adc is 12 bit). By using formulas, I am calculating Rthermistor. Then when I check lookup table it corresponds to 10-15 degrees

This is quite low . I expect something between 20 and 25

My calculations are correct but ADC produces small result which is caused by low analog voltage on its pin.

What do you suggest for me?

    Hi Ray,

    The  resistance of the Thermistor on the HDK is 100kohms at 25C. The VCC power supply VCCAD is 5V by default. So at room temperature, the ADC input is 3.3V/2 = 1.65V.

    The sampled value is around 1.65/5*4095 = 1351
