SW-EK-TM4C123GXL: Kentec Boostxl display completely blank when connected

Hi,

I am trying to connect the kentec boostxl display to the board. I flashed the grlib_demo program from the boostxl documentation (tivaware_c_series2.2.0.295/examples/boards/ek-tm4c123gxl-boostxl-kentec-s1), but the screen remains blank after loading the program. The result is attached in the photo.

I tried to debug by looking at the SDI and SCL signal. SDI looks like a 250Hz square wave while SCL is just zero. Is it normal? Could this be a hardware problem or did I do something wrong?
