Hi,

We have brought the TMS570LD0432 MCU.

Have some doubts regarding, embedding the program into the chip.

Do we essentially need and USB to JTAG Emulator to embed the program into the MCU ?

What are the possible ways and requirements to embed the program into this MCU ?

Is it essential and recommended to buy a debugger like "TMDSEMU110-U" to work with C2000 series MCU ?

Hi Prabhu,

The TMS570LS043 doesn't have ROM bootloader. The first program has to be programmed through JTAG. If the first program is a bootloader, the application can be loaded using the bootloader. If the bootloader is not used, you have to use JTAG emulator to load the program to TMS570 internal flash.

Yes, TMDSEMU110 supports TMS570 devices.

I think that the XDS can not be used for flashing MSP430 devices. The MSP430 can be flashed only by TI MSP-FET, please double check with MSP430 team.
