TMDSEMU110-U: Debug probe does not enumerate

Do you see any unknown device in Windows Device Manager? Any bus activities when you plugin and plug-out to the USB port? If USB port on your computer is working then we should see some activities on Windows Device Manager - either it is enumerated successfully or unknown device. If it is unknown USB device, then try to install FTDI driver from the link below:

Can you try different USB port on your laptop or different laptop?

No, I did not see any change in the device manager or any device added when the probe is plugged into the USB port. We have tried different computers and a different USB cable without any success. This is why I was thinking it may be a hardware defect with the probe itself. 

I installed the driver you provided however the situation is still the same.

I spoke with our firmware engineer and the only thing the debug probe has been plugged into was our TMDS243GPEVM evaluation board. The connector to the JTAG header on the evaluation board is keyed so I assume no damage could be done there.

If we see D1 and D2 led on, and USB port is woking, we should see some activity on USB bus on Windows. Let me check internally with folks. I will get back to you later today.

I do not see D1 or D2 light when I plug it into a USB port so it probably isn't working. I tried on a few different PC's and no luck.

Okay, then probably the part is bad. 

When did you purchase? Did it ever worked or it was broken out of the box? Can you send the serial # of the device?
