Hello,
customer want to isolate the JTAG with our ISO7761 but CCS often complains that the MCU is in Low-power mode… Error -1156)
Is there something what he has to consider?

Hi Holger,
You are using 4-pin standard JTAG? i.e. using all JTAG signals TDI, TDO, TCK, TMS. If so, one thing to verify is the direction of signals through the isolator, since they are uni-directional. Might help to provide a reference schematic or diagram with the ISO device.
Best,
Kevin
Hello Kevin,
yes, the uni-direction is clear to the customer. They followed the direction from the datasheet:

Hi Holger,
OK, so all but TDO should be considered inputs to the C2000 device. What C2000 device is the customer using and are they using a TI EVM or custom board? Can they verify they see 3.3V and 1.2V on the respective power rails.
Best,
Kevin
Hi Holger,
I'll need more info to assist. Did the connection ever work? I had the same error yesterday and restarting my PC / CCS actually fixed it.
Try referencing the JTAG debug App Note below and follow the steps for testing/verifying the connection. Let me know if they get stuck on a specific step.
