I'm working on a project that is using Code Composer Studio v5 for compiling our DSP. This is running on a Windows XP virtual machine.

 I would like to get a more contemporary compiler to produce identical object code.

Is there a newer version of the Studio that would run on Windows 10 and still support the processor?

    Scott,

    Atmel AT91RM9200 is mentioned in the subject line.  However that is not a TI product.  Are you using a TI device, if so which one?

    Hi John,

    Thanks for seeing that.  The project does have a TI processor, but I thought I was looking for Code Composer Studio for the ARM.  Does this compiler not also work on the ARM?  Maybe I have my signals crossed.

    Please educate me.

    Scott,

    Code Composer Studio has support for a number of Arm cores.  However it's license restricts use to TI devices only.  i.e. if you have a TI device with an Arm core on it you can use Code Composer Studio to develop on that core.
