Hello,

I wanted to replace the TMS570LS3137 for another chip of the same family because of there are no stock of it.

I have found the TMS570LS3134 but I do not know if my 3137 C code could be run over the 3134. I understand that the only differences between them are the Frame Relay and Ethernet controllers (I am not using Eth nor FR). So, Could I implement the TMS570LS3134?

Only to be sure, I am using a BlackHawk XDS100V2 as a programmer to flash the 3137 chip. Could I use this to flash the 3134 too?

I found that the RM48L540 is able to replace the TMS570 too. However, I can see a difference with the DMA module:

The TMS570 specifies '16 Channels and 32 Control Packets' but the RM48 specifies '16 Channels and 32 Peripheral Requests'. Are those features the same thing?

Yes, they are compatible. The only difference between LS3137 and LS3134 is that LS3134 doesn't have EMAC and Flexray.

RM48Lx is a little endian device, but TMS570LSx is a big endian device. You SW code needs to be modified accordingly.

The DMA controller ob RM48Lx and TMS570LS31x has 16 channels, 32 peripheral requests rather than 32 control packets.
