Hi,
Please use this production selection guide for the differences between different part numbers.
After checking it, I found that the data protection and Ethernet communication standards are different, but other than that, I thought there was no difference.
Are my thoughts correct?
Hi,
The reason that I suggest you stay with the same part number or at least one that has the same pinout as the one you find in the EVM board is because the one with the Ethernet vs the one without Ethernet will have pinout difference. See below for example. If the AWR EVM board does not use the Ethernet pins or as a matter of fact do not use any of the pins highlighted in yellow then you can substitute with the one on the right hand size. Again, please consult with the AWR1834 support team by opening the thread specifying AWR1834 as the part number. They will be able to assist you for your PCB design.
