Hi,
I do see MSP432E4_MASS_ERASE. I'm using CCS12 and XDS110 as the debug probe.
- Are you using CCS? If yes, which version?
- Which debug probe do you use? I suppose you use XDS110 for MSP-EXP432E01Y?
Please also refer to this post which provides details on using command-line to mass-erase (aka unlock) the device. https://e2e.ti.com/support/microcontrollers/msp-low-power-microcontrollers-group/msp430/f/msp-low-power-microcontroller-forum/655218/msp432e411y-does-a-tool-exist-to-recover-locked-msp432
Hi Charles thanks for the reply,
I am using CCS 12.1.0 with XDS110. I will try the solution in the link, thanks.
Hi again,
I tried to use command line to unlock the device. However it requires me to launch "dbgjtag.exe" but I am unable to do so. I have the following error when I try to launch the program via console. I tried this on 3 different PCs with win11 and win10 and still got the same result on all.
Have you tried running
.\dbgjtag -f @xds110 -Y unlock,mode=msp432e4
as it suggested?
It seems to be complaining that PowerShell won't just run an executable just because it is in the current directory.
