Part Number: TM4C1299NCZAD

Hi Team,

Good day. I am posting this inquiry on behalf of our customer.

I am developing a new application. That is communicate to PC with ethernet. I use LWIP stack and I take a fault from lwIPInit function. The fault is internal PHY is not present.

See in the below image, the program lock at infinitive while loop.

Please help to advise. Thank you for extending your support.

Kind regards,

Marvin

  • Hi,

Please answer a few questions for me.

      - Take a screenshot of your System module registers. I want to see if the all the Ethernet related components are present. Below is what I see on the LaunchPad highlighted in yellow.

      - Can you first run your program on the LaunchPad board? I want to make sure it is not a software issue. Do you have problem with the line of code checking for EPHY present?

      - Do you have another board that will show the same problem?

      - if there is at least another board that works then it means the problem is isolated to one MCU. If all boards have the same problems it will be very very rare. I have not seen a problem as such before. Please take a picture of the chips. I want to see the date code of these chips.
