MSPM0G3507: flash early samples

Additional information: it seems reset pin drive is inverted. When I request reset from uniflash reset is set high for approx. 1s then is low - but I don't see any way to invert the reset polarity

If I unplug flasher I can see that the part still works from debug mode, but it doesn't restart - but it still doesn't solve the flasher issue

Now the question is more why the microcontroler doesn't start when the flasher is disconnected

Yes, we do see this issue before and it has been fixed with the latest Uniflash version with final silicon.

I am trying to check where is the reset vector pointing to be sure that it goes to main() - is there a way to check that to proove the sw can start without the debugger?

Could you help to add a GPIO toggle event at beginning?

Do you mean even with a hardware reset on the NRST pin the application can't be start?

in debug mode all work fine, it's my first app: toggle GPIO to check oscillators setup

absolutely, it's the real issue, initial issue with flasher is not a blocking point

We are using I2C_SDA on PA18

Ah, I think I got the issue there. For the PA18 it the BSL invoke pin by default and it is high to be valid. So that means your device always go into the BSL that is why your application is not working. You can disable the BSL invoke pin or modify it to other pins if you want to use GPIO to invoke BSL. The configuration is in non-main flash. Could you show me the screen picture on your device? Let me check which device version do you use: early sample or final sample

The bootstrap loader (BSL) can be enabled or disabled by setting the bootloader mode to enabled or disabled in
the BOOTCFG1.BSLMODE field in the NONMAIN flash memory. When the BSL is disabled, it is not possible to
enter the bootloader through any invocation mechanism

Okay how do I do that? Is it possible from syscfg (I am searching at the same time)

Not necessary, but you can do that. Be careful that you  just need to download the non-main flash image one time. And after that do not erase the non-main flash when you do the application code debug.
