MCU-PLUS-SDK-AM243X: EtherNet/IP

Hello!

Through the link below, I realized that 3rd party Ethernet/IP Stack must be ported based on Enet LLD to develop Ethernet/IP that supports 1Gbps.

I'd like to ask you a few questions accordingly.

1. PRU Firmware is written in Binary (Hex file), is there any problem with this firmware running 1Gbps Ethernet/IP?

2. If there is a problem, we need to develop Firmware to support 1Gbps,

so I would appreciate it if you could give me a brief introduction to how to develop it or link me to a related reference document.

3. Also, what happens to the license if I change and use only the DLR Stack in MCU+SDK?

This firmware is for 100 Mbps ICSS EMAC. The correct path for firmware supporting 1gpbs is : ind_comms_sdk_am243x\mcu_plus_sdk\source\networking\enet\core\src\per\firmware\icssg

You need not develop 1Gbps firmware, as it is already available in Industrial comms sdk. Please find the link here to download the same: dr-download.ti.com/.../ind_comms_sdk_am243x_09_00_00_03-windows-x64-installer.exe

I am not sure which stack you are referring to here? If you are using DLR stack from 3P then you need to license it yourself.

The 3P DLR stack I mentioned means the EMAC-based DLR stack included in the MCU+SDK.

No for that you do not need any specific license, please mention the copy write message at the top of file, that will do.
