Is application of nPORRST prior to removal of VCC mandatory for the TMS570LC4357-EP? Table 5-4 of the datasheet indicates that nPORRST must be active at least 2 us prior to VCC dropping below V_CCPORH. However, with the internal voltage monitor and the fact that the datasheet explicitly states that there are no power sequencing requirements for power up and power down, it seems unnecessary to apply nPORRST prior to powering down the device. Please explain the intent of line number 7 in Table 5-4.
