Base on this DS, the max power = 235-0.15*exp(0.174Tjk). I don't see how the power can be higher than 235 ma from this equation. In addition, the power will be less at higher temperature. Please explain.

Hi Tam,
Please have a look at below similar issue that we got recently and this might be useful for you:

Thanks for sending the .pdf. However, there is no answer to my question. In fact the other person had the same question. I don't see how you get 700 mA max current and even at 25C the equation did not come out as in the datasheet.
The maximum ICC with HCLK=180MHz at 150degree junction-temperature during LBIST is 700mA.
If junction temperature is 25 degree, the Icc = 700 -{ 235 - 0.15e(0.0174*298.15)} = 700 - 57.67 = 642.3 mA
If junction temperature is 150 degree, the Icc = 700 -{ 235 - 0.15e(0.0174*423.15)} = 700 - 0.012 = 699.99 mA
The formula (235 - 0.15*e0.0174TJK) is for derating or subtraction from the maximum current.
