ENERGIA: Unable to sign up on 43oh forum

I'm not receiving the confirmation mail in my email and hence unable to create an account on the 43oh forum to clear my doubts. As I'm not getting a proper solution in E2E platform, I thought of using the Energia code. But even using that, I don't think I can program PGA302 's P gain using the MSP430FR5969 launchpad. What should I do about it?

Have you tried putting "PGA302" in the part number field when "asking a new question" so that this shows up on the sensor board?

Yes, I have asked multiple qns related to that already putting the PGA302 as part number. You can check out my previous posts. They just keep replying that they can't provide any additional support but I'm unable to understand why is that so.

Hello Abhilipsa,

I'm not familiar with the PGA302 and I don't think we have an out of box demo to interface to it from the MSP side.

I see that it has a I2C interface, and we have an fairly detailed I2C interface for reading and writing registers available here: https://dev.ti.com/tirex/explore/node?node=A__ABsh79kxdPLraPXoO-jaAg__msp430ware__IOGqZri__LATEST

You will have to modify the code example to interface to the PGA302. You will have to change the I2C address and probably the register addresses and values. We have an I2C MSP Academy. Task 2 of the academy walks through that I2C master example I linked and Task 3 shows an example of modifying it to interface to another sensor. (OPT3001 in the case of the academy.)

Hopefully this gets you talking to the device.
