hello，

i have one question about the I/O pin 

As shown in the figure below, Mcu's I/O port is equipped with a clamp diode

1）I want to know if I/O will be damaged when there is forward overvoltage and reverse overvoltage at the I/O port？ 

If it will cause I/O damage, Is damage caused by overcurrent？ Overcurrent caused by high voltage？

2）another question: When I apply  an AD port， Should I connect R2, resistors in series in the AD acquisition circuit？

please help check this follow AD acquisition circuit ,and the VIN input Power is 13.5V, Is there a problem with the circuit？My software sampling cycle is every 2ms

How do I set the values of R2 and C2 value,please help explain in details.

    The absolute max voltage on an IO pin is Vdd+0.3 V, or -0.3 V. Note that when Vdd is off (Vdd = 0) anything above 0.3 V is not allowed - and in fact can power the chip. (As I learned the hard way). Absolute Max ratings follow the pottery barn rule, if you exceed it, you bought it.

    The clamp diodes can sustain *some* level of current, but it is wise not to depend on that, and avoid it completely.
