    Hi Dan, 

    TMDSHSECDOCK/ TMDSHSECDOCK263 is used for breaking out the 180-pin HSEC connector (present in the controlCARDs) to the headers present on it. In TMDSHSECDOCK263 (for AM263 controlCARD), it conditions some additional hardware to support the peripherals featured on the AM263x controlCARD EVM.  For example, there is a PSRAM device on the TMDSHSECDOCK-AM263 to be used with the GPMC peripheral on the AM263x. Please see the user guide (TMDSHSECDOCK-AM263 User's Guide (ti.com)) for more details on the hardware present.
