MSP-EXP432E401Y: Earth GND connection to Chassis GND

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MSP-EXP432E401Y

Tool/software:

Hello Team,
This thread is related to the previous thread e2e.ti.com/.../connection-between-digital-ground-and-chassis-ground
We are using the EVM MSP-EXP432E401Y in one of our designs.
We have completely copied the schematic of the MSP-EXP432E401Y and added few components/circuit for our application (MCU board in the image below).
This board along with some other PCBs are assembled in an enclosure for our final product.
We need CE  certification for our end product.
Can you please confirm whether the ground connection scheme is correct or not?.
1). The signal ground is connected to the chassis GND in more than one location
2). Can I directly connect the chassis GND with the Earth GND? (In the image a resistor is there)
3).

    Hi,

Yes to both questions in my opinion. I have also given you the needed information/articles on the best practice to connect the various GNDs. Having said that, you are asking questions about PCB design that requires passing CE certification. This is beyond our expertise mainly on the MSP432E MCU. I strongly recommend you consult with 3rd party design house for review of your particular design.
