Can you elaborate what is mean by gang programmer?

Usually, people use UNIFLASH tool with JTAG emulators (xds110, xds100, xds200, xds220, etc) for mass production.

Gang programmer basically using for flashing firmware in a Panel (Set of boards) 1 by 1 - at a time.

like - MSP-GANG PROGRAMMER recommended by TI for MSP family.

Hi Munesh,

I think we don't have gang programmer for Hercules devices, I want to confirm this with my senior colleague once.

And i also found below thread with regarding gang programmer and here they provided some third-party vendor links:

I saw those threads. I don't know what is their credibility in TI terms. I will use whatever TI recommended.

Hi Munesh,

I just got the response from my senior colleague, and he is also saying that there is no gang programmer support from our TI side for Hercules devices.

And he said the customers will mainly use JTAG debuggers only for the code flashing purposes.

If you need gang programmer supports, then you should need to check with third parties like

dataio (Automated Device Programming & IoT Security Provisioning Solutions (dataio.com))

Algocraft

etc.
