MSPM0C1103: Current feedback control solution

Tool/software:

Hi,

We are considering a solution that uses MSPM0 to sense the coil current and perform current feedback control.

The input to MSPM0 is the current command value (analog) and current feedback (analog).

The output of MSPM0 is planned to be an output (2 or 4 outputs) that controls the H-bridge with PWM, and we would also like to adjust the gain of the PI regulator.

Could you comment on the feasibility of this? Please let us know if you have any related information such as application notes.

Thanks,

Conor

  • For the PWM output should be no problem, for the current sensing it will depends if you can input a resistor in the current loop that can use ADC to measure the voltage cross the resistor. Or you can use other ways to convert the current to voltage signal that be measured by the ADC. By they way, what's the end equipment of your application?
