We are upgrading our machine's design and need to replace the existing PIC32MX MCU, which currently supports a 320x240 TFT touch display using PMP interface, with a new MCU capable of handling a larger 10.1" display with a resolution of at least 800x600, preferably 1024x600 or 1280x720. The new system will feature a more complex UI, requiring an MCU with increased processing power, memory, and peripheral support, including CAN and Ethernet interfaces. Additionally, the design must adhere to IEC 62304 and IEC 62366 software standards for medical devices. The goal is to ensure improved display performance, connectivity, and future scalability while minimizing potential risks such as suboptimal UI performance. We are evaluating MCU/MPU options that can meet these requirements and ensure compliance with the necessary standards.

Additionally, we would like to inquire about the best software tools and frameworks that can help us develop this system while ensuring compliance with IEC 62304 and IEC 62366. What software solutions are recommended for the development and testing phases of the project?
