MCU-PLUS-SDK-AM261X: COMMUNICATIONS-SDK-AM261X protocol conversion question

Hi expert,

I know AM243/AM261 have some question about the multi protocol conversion

it can use for different protocol conversions, like Profinet to Ethercat or Profinet to IO-Link. As I understand it, there will be a delay in the conversion of these protocols, right?

For our AM261 and our example, what is the delay of this conversion?

Hello Jenson,

we have not yet performed the measurements on our side. We do have a plan to measure it on the gateways in the future and update in the Datasheet of the documentation.

A year ago, a customer had performed some tests on EtherCAT-IOLink-gateway on AM243x-LP. A test where time is measured from setting a digital output to reading a digital input (DI is connected to DO) showed 2-8ms.
