MSPM0G3507: MSPM0G5307 configuration for 1-wire UART with UART1_RX / UART1_TX on single pin

Part Number: MSPM0G3507
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MSPM0G5117

Hi!

This is Ken, we currently use the MSPM0G5117 MCU on our product and we have MSPM3507 EVM.
Due to connection interface has a limited number of pins, the MCU will communicate with the device through one wire UART via DS2488.
The DS2488 is a simple bridge device that with a single dedicated contact on each side of the bridge enables up to 512kbps pass-through communication, power delivery for battery charging, small message exchange, and state reporting between two microcontroller-based subsystems.
Can UART1_RX and UART1_TX be configured for 1-wire RX/TX function?
I could not find any information about this.
Is there a sample code for reference?
Does the hardware circuit design shown below require any adjustments for MSPM0G5117 side?
