Hi Champs,

Import Project "spi_controller_command_data_control_LP_MSPM33C321A_nortos_ticlang" from the latest SDK mspm33_sdk_1_02_00_00.

I set MCLK = 160MHz in SysConfig / Clock Tree.

The datasheet says SPI clock can be up to 30MHz. But I can't change the bit rate to a value higher than 16MHz though the SPI Calculated clock source is 80MHz. See the picture below.

Please advise if I missed out something or there is something wrong with the SysConfig for MSPM33.

Hi Kien,

The SPI can reach 30 MHz with the use of an external high frequency crystal (HFXT), however, it appears there might be an issue linking that HFXT to the SPI in Sysconfig. Let me confirm with the software team and get back to you.

I couldn't find this info in the DS & TRM.

In the code example, I uses Internal System Oscillator (SYSOSC) & SYSPLL to set MCLK at 160MHz. Change the clock source to HFXT (40MHz) doesn't help.

Aslo, there is no description of BUSCLK in DS and TRM. The SysConfig says it will be derived from either MCLK (for PD1) or ULPCLK (for PD0).
