Please review the part number - what you ask for is 64 pin number, so no pins 72...
Also, look for this application note: http://www.ti.com/lit/an/spma051/spma051.pdf which has general rules for configuring the micro and making a good PCB.

Friend Petrei gives good guidance.
However - can almost, "guarantee" that while your current plan does not involve those pins - your future use may require them! (not to ask - "how" I know)
Suggest that you route any/all GPIO pins to board edge (header ideally) or - at the minimum - to properly sized via - so that you may harvest those currently "unneeded pins" in the future. (You do not want to have to later "tack" a wire to any fine-pitch device!)
