Thanks for taking the time to answer my question,

I am using a Hall effects sensor to measure wheel speed which generates a pulse train, we need to find the frequency and duty cycle from the output of this sensor. Does the TM4C1231C3PM have an application that will do this?

Hello Brandon,

It depends on the fact as to how fast and slow (max and min) speed do you expect from the wheel and what is the ON time and OFF time under the specific condition of fastest speed.

Thanks for getting back to me,

The speed of the wheel at most will be around 35 rotations per second and 0 at the lowest, will the TM4C1231C3PM work for this application?

Hello Brandon,

There is no application example, but based on what you have described you would need to use the timer to make measurements. One timer would need to work in Edge Time Mode and another timer to count the rollover of the timer value.
