CCS/RM48L940: How can I used this part to output the EMIF_CLK when it's work at Asynchronous Mode?

If you are in Asynchronous mode, there shouldn't be a need to output the clock since transactions will be completed asynchronously. Can you provide additional information on the specific need for this?

Thanks for reply. I connect the EMIF with FPGA. And the logic inside FPGA need this clock to speed up the bus operation. Any method can bu used to output the EMIF_CLK?

There is no limit to using EMIF_CLK output based on the mode of the EMIF. i.e., even in asynchronous mode, the EMIF_CLK signal can be output.

From the datasheet:

The PINMUX can be activated on the IOMM tab of the Halcogen tool.

I try to deselect the check box of EMIF_CLK and also disable the SDRAM of EMIF in HALCOGEN,but the clock is not output from EMIF_CLK pin. Could you help check any reason?

I don't understand this comment. If you want the EMIF_CLK signal to be brought out, the check box SHOULD be checked.

I am also not certain what you mean by "disable the SDRAM of EMIF." Can you provide further explanation?

Sorry, I made wrong comments. I select the check box of the EMIF_CLK but I disable the SDRAM of EMIF. And the EMIF_CLK is not outputed.

I got the emif clock output using the ccs project below. This project is for TMS570LS3137:

3515.TMS570LS3137_SRAM_Test.zip

In HALCoGen:

1. Enable EMIF driver under driver enable tab

2. check 'EMIF" and "Enable EMIF_CLK output" under Pinmux tab

3. Under EMIF tab, enable any Asyn 

Save project, and generate code.
