Hi Support,

can you kindly specify me how TI-RTOS SW stack is built through the XDC tool (meaning, which portion of the code is taken by the XDC tool to build what a customer may need and can customer isolate just the part of the code that is required by their application?).

The idea is to use only the XDC tools effectively required by the application.

Hi,
The XDCtools provides the tools used to build the configuration file. These tools are used automatically by CCS if your project contains a *.cfg file. Please in CCS open a resource explorer and import a TI-RTOS example and you will find a *.cfg file. The XDC also provides a GUI based XGCONF Configuration Editor to configure/edit the *.cfg file. The *.cfg file is what you use to configure the various modules of the TI-RTOS. I think the best way to understand TI-RTOS and XDC is go through the TI-RTOS user's guide and training materials.

If you have install the latest TI-RTOS you can find the user's guide under c:\ti\tirtos_tivac_2_16_01_14\docs\

Hi Alberto,

The configuro step generates two directories in a CCS project (I'm assuming you are using a "debug" CCS build configuration)
- debug\configPkg: this contains generated linker file, "big.c", etc.
- src: this the object files for the kernel and gnerated library
