Hello Sandeep,

What is the ESP8266 used for in your application? There are UART, SPI, I2C, GIO modules on both devices (TMS470, and the ESP). Which module you want to use?

Hi Sir
Using UART protocol.
Aim is to connect to a WiFi network by passing Commands through the controller.

Hi Sandeep,

Please use HALCoGen to generate driver for device initialization, startup, and UART communication. Here is the link for downloading the HALCoGen:

Hi Sir..

I had already generated the driver code using Halcogen. I am facing the problem with the program code, not able to get the response after transmitting the AT commands using UART protocol. Transmitted commands are getting replicated in the terminal window, but am not getting any response to the commands.

Hello Sandeep,

You need to follow the uart protocol defined by ESP8266. The HALCoGen generates the low level hardware driver for initializing the module, transmitting and receiving data with/without the interrupt. You can use the terminal (for example TeraTerm) to test you UAR application to make your code send or receive data correctly.
