TM4C1237E6PM: Voltage level mismatch

Part Number: TM4C1237E6PM

Hi community,

Please help me to find out the answer for the below queries

1)IO sink current

I have connected 2# LED Cathode through current limiting resistor  (150E) to PE1 and PE5 of TM4C1237E6PM. The LED Forward Current is 30mA .

Whether PE port has the capability to sink the 8mA current ? How it will be configured ?

2)VI & VH levels

I am facing TM4C MCU IO input and output voltage level mismatch with SPI Flash, RF SOC's. Please refer the below figure.

Here VOH of TM4C is not matching with VIH of SPI flash & CC1352. How this issue will be taken care ?

VIH(Min) of TM4C is not matching with VOH(min) of SOC2.

All four chip set supply voltage is 3.3V

Thanks & regards,

Divya

  • The GPIO pins PE1 and PE5 can sink a minimum of 8mA down to 0.4V when configured as 8mA drive. In that configuration they will sink a minimum of 18mA down to 1.2V. When using GPIO pins to sink or source currents, be mindful of the total current limit for each side of the device, 30mA for the left (PE1) side and 40mA for the top (PE5) side.

The minimum output voltage is specified at the maximum current (2mA, 4mA or 8mA). When driving lower loads, the output high voltage will be higher and the output low voltage will be lower. At no load, the output voltage will approximate Vdd for high and GND for low. With the low leakage current of CMOS inputs, you should have no problems achieving proper levels.
