Could you please advise if TM4C1297 can drive DLP2000 using the 24bit parallel I/F?

The DLPC2607 is the recommended front end for the DLP2000.

Bob, you are correct the DLP2607 is controlling the DLP2000 (which is only the DMD).
can you please advise if our TM4C1297 can drive the DLP2607 directly?

I have not used the DLPC2607 but it looks like the LCD interface of the TM4C1297NCZAD is compatible. See section 21 of the datasheet:
