Here is also one article about calculating the pixel clock and throughput. Roughly you can use the below two equations to calculate the throughput data required on the EPI interface where the image data is stored.
pixel clock = pixel resolution x frame rate (1)
throughput = pixel clock x color depth (2)

The datasheet states 2048x2048 pixels as the maximum resolution. The maximum frame rate will be determined by the image size in combination with the pixel clock rate. We have no reference design done beyond 320x240. The reference design demonstrates a resolution of 320x240 at 30fps. Beyond this resolution in conjunction with frame rate (30fps), I can't tell you if your specific application will work or not without lag. If you divide 320x240x30 by 800x600 as in your requirement, that leaves you with 4.8fps that I think will work. However, you are desiring for 25fps which will require a much higher throughput. At the end, I think the bottleneck will be accessing the SDRAM across the EPI interface.
