CC430F5137: CC430F5133, CC1101, ETSI EN 300 220

Part Number: CC430F5137
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC430F5133

Hi TI,

We are using CC430F5133 for some of our products. These devices are used as active RFID tags mostly with different form factors or sizes. To meet the market we want to secure compliance certificate from CE. So before going for a compliance or pre-compliance testing, we did a conducted emissions testing in our lab. In this testing we note that the spurious emissions in 470MHz to 790MHz band is more than -54dBm. In one device -51.97dBm at 573.2MHz and in another -51.36dBm at 610MHz. We are using an inbuilt PCB helical antenna, which is recommended in DN038. We are using a chip balun from Johanson technologies and a saw filter(B3717) between antenna match and balun. The conducted emissions were tested after saw filter. My question is can we go for compliance with ETSI EN 300 220, as all the final testings are going to be radiated one? Or we need to make sure conducted emissions should be within -54dBm?
