RM46L850: USB CDC using RM46x launchpad

I wonder if I can make use of USB CDC class demo application available for RM48L952 HDK to RM46 controller using USB transceiver.

Thanks, I have gone through it.

Currently we have RM46x Launchpads for development purpose , which will be replaced by RM48L952 controller IC in PCB assembly.

Intention is to communicate between PC and Hercules controller using USB module.

Looking to CDC class example, it is mentioned for RM48L952 HDK board, I want to know if there are any IC to interface with RM48L952 controller IC or any other hardware requirement for RM48L952 IC to implement USB CDC class.

Hi,

The RM48 HDK supports USB host and USB device. The USB connectors for both Host and Slave should be populated on the RM48x HDK. You don'y need other HW for implementing USB CDC class.
