TM4C129DNCPDT: Deep sleep mode wake up by CAN

Part Number: TM4C129DNCPDT

Please check if it is available of TM4C129 wake-up from deep sleep by CAN? Which clock setting or mode is available for the application and keeps minimum current consumption as possible?

  • Hi,

Yes, you can put the CAN into deep-sleep. See below. For proper CAN operation, you should not use LFIOSC as the clock source. You need to use the PIOSC. You can keep the rest of the peripherals OFF and only keep the CAN module ON if that is the application you want to operate in deep-sleep mode. The closest consumption will be the 9.5mA at 85C with VDD/VDDA=3.3V and LDO=0.9V and all peripherals OFF except CAN. We don't have current consumption characterization for one module active only.
