F28M36P53C2: performance comparsion between F28M36 and F28M35

Hello Peter,

As far as F28M35 and F28M36 are concerned, there is slight increase in memory and speed of Cortex-M core. But the C28x sub system remains the same with few enhancements to control peripherals. If you are looking for pure CPU performance both should remain the same.

I'm tagging experts from marketing to see if they can recommend an alternate part for you, if you can explain your system a little more in detail.

Thanks for your reply. Our system needs lots of math calculation and rapid response, So F28M35 becomes unsatisfied as our functions increase.  We want to find a replacement with higher performance and less migration work. It will be very helpfull if you could let your marketing expert know our requirements and give some suggestions.

if you are looking for the highest performance device, I recommend you migrate to the F28388 (https://www.ti.com/product/TMS320F28388D): once you are on this platform, you have the latest and greatest and can also take advantage of re-using your code to migrate to lower-end part as well. The move to the F28338 would time well spent to solve your immediate challenge and be future-proof. We have a lot of documentation that facilitates the migration which should fairly easy.
