I am working on 28027f + DRV8305 Booster XL to control sensorless BLDC motor (Instaspin FOC) . I have downloaded CCS version 10, Motorware, Universal GUI and Controlsuite software. I could successfully run lab5b. My motor (B0614H4041) is running at whatever speed is entered in GUI speed ref field. But i am not able to roatate it in anticlockwise direction. My application requires motor to run in forward direction then reverse direction i.e. in oscillation mode. How to do it?

You might set a positive reference speed (gMotorVars.SpeedRef_krpm) for running in forward direction, and a negative reference speed for the reverse direction.

Does it means simply I have to chnage code in lab05b.c

// set the speed reference
CTRL_setSpd_ref_krpm(ctrlHandle,gMotorVars.SpeedRef_krpm);

// set the speed reference
CTRL_setSpd_ref_krpm(ctrlHandle,-gMotorVars.SpeedRef_krpm);

After doing this motor is not rotating in reverse direction

You should set different values to gMotorVars.SpeedRef_krpm as below in somewhere.

gMotorVars.SpeedRef_krpm = _IQ(1.0) when need forwarding rotation

gMotorVars.SpeedRef_krpm = _IQ(-1.0) when need reverse rotation

_IQ(1.0) means 1.0krpm, you can change this number as you want.

Yes it resolved ny issue. But i have one more query . Now i want to run motor in forward direction then wait 1second and rotate motor in reverse direction.

Now,

1. In which file i need do changes i.e in main.h / projlab05b.c or other file. I am not getting this.

2. How to write delay routine.

3. Can you provide sample code and file name or location where i can make changes.

There is no such reference code. You may easily add some codes to do this like below in main loop or ISR by yourself.

You might add the delay code in ISR to achieve a 1s delay.
